Golden Globe Awards The Hollywood Foreign Press Association released the nominees for the Golden Globe Awards 2000 on Monday 20th of December. The awards are extremely strong indicators as to who will walk away with an Oscar next March. Among the nominees are : Matt Damon (Best Actor) for The Talented Mr Ripley, Julia Roberts ( Best Actress in a Comedy / Musical ) for Notting Hill, Jim Carrey ( Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical ) for Man on the Moon.
